The weekend saw several of the conference's soccer and field hockey teams in action. Iowa battled Ohio State to a 3-0 win in field hockey on Saturday afternoon. Moving to soccer, the Illinois and Michigan State women's teams settled the score in double overtime, with the Illini getting the 1-0 win. The Michigan State men's soccer team picked up its first Big Ten victory of the season, defeating Penn State, 1-0.
Meanwhile, the No. 15 Indiana field hockey team ended the home slate with a 4-2 win over Michigan State.
