I actually have no problem with Illinois, but to say Illinois should be ahead of MSU right now makes no sense. The iowa game from last year has nothing to do with right now, don't live in the past like michigan fans do. And the ND game vs MSU has nothing to do with Illinois either. If you want to go that route, MSU beat Illinois and Michigan and Illinois lost to both MSU and Michigan, apples to oranges my friend.

Talk about meltdowns - remember a little steam roller named Iowa that the vaunted Spartans had a little issue with last fall? Just can't stand the Illini or anyone else having a little success when you know MSU is going to fall apart like a cheap suit....AGAIN!

wow illinois beats western mich by 3 and needs nw to have a total meltdown to beat them and they talk smack

michigan needed a meltdown by nd and hasn't beaten anyone good. it will be like the last 2 years, mich will be undefeated when they face msu, they once again will get a reality check and flop the second half of the season...

Chris - Went with Spartans over Illini because they are looking so great defensively - even if they've only played one good offense. Still like Illinois, but its defense finally showed some holes against NU. Really love Illini's schedule, though. They are set up for a great season.

How is Michigan state ahead of Illinois? Ohio state isn't really that good and MSU only scored 10 pts. And don't forget what Notre Dame did to the Spartans. Illinois is the No.3 team in the big ten right now. No doubt about it.
