The University of Iowa women's soccer team continued its success Sunday, improving to 7-0 with a 5-0 shutout over South Dakota. The Iowa offense was relentless for the entirety of the game, keeping possession in the front third for much of the game.  In the opening minutes of play, South Dakota's freshman goalkeeper Mackenzie Viktor fended off shots from Kat Lewis, Cloe Lacasse and Jade Grimm. Viktor was able to make stops on the quick attack initially, but committed an own goal after a corner kick by senior Morgan Showalter in the 15th minute of the game to give Iowa the early lead.
