BTN.com has a new staple every Saturday night. It's called "Marines: Leaders of the Week," and it's a feature designed to honor some of the top Big Ten performances. For Week 2, we're focusing on the wide receivers. There were several strong performances through the air, and here are a few of the top ones:

Keenan Davis, Iowa – Davis had a clutch catch, an impressive 23-yard scoring strike, to force a third overtime in Ames, Iowa. The Hawkeyes were unable to pull out the win, though, losing 44-41 in triple overtime. Davis did all he could, hauling in five catches for a game-high 95 yards and a touchdown.

Da'Jon McKnight, Minnesota – The Gophers suffered a disappointing 28-21 defeat to New Mexico State in their home opener, however McKnight was an absolute beast in defeat. The star receiver caught nine passes, including several acrobatic ones, for 146 yards and a touchdown.

Nick Toon, Wisconsin – Toon is one of the beneficiaries of Russell Wilson's much-talked-about arrival in Madison. The receiver, fresh off a quiet Week 1 performance, caught a team-high seven catches for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Badgers' 35-0 win over Oregon State.

Junior Hemingway, Michigan – Hemingway only hauled in three passes, but he sure made them count, picking up a Big Ten-best 165 receiving yards. The Wolverine averaged an unreal 55 yards per reception on his way to helping Michigan rally past Notre Dame, 35-31, in thrilling fashion.
