Iowa-Iowa State is one of those classic regional sports rivalries that you throw any ranking or what you have done the past week out the window.

I think McNutt and Prater should be listed as options fo rhte Big Ten player of week 1. I also think Iowa should be listed as Most Impressive Big Ten team in Week 1.

Bama vs PSU is the “Big Ten Game of the week, no others come close. Train wreck game of the week is ND vs. Mich. It will be interesting in the way a dumpster fire is interesting.

Really looking to see how the hawks do in better conditions. they looked pretty good in the first game. i really think this game could show a lot for how the rest of the season could go.

I wish Indiana would start playing football. Do you have any idea how hard it is to live in Columbus Ohio and be a Hoosier?

It appears there is a “formula” for the B1G 4-game non-conference schedule in varying order of a FCS team, MAC team, non-BCS conference FBS team, and a BCS conference team. Can you please discuss the pros & cons of such a non-conference “formula” to prepare for B1G play, BCS rankings, and Bowl game prep?

Thanks guys.

Janet, we’re all for it and we do air more and more Olympic sports each year. We’ve also rolled out the Big Ten Digital Network, where we cover many of the sports you mention and others. And don’t forget StudentU, too. Another solid effort. People always want more and we’re doing our best to give i to them.
