Nebraska officially joined the Big Ten Conference this summer and here's an updated Q&A describing just how Nebraska fans can watch a whole bunch of Huskers football on the BTN.

Q: Who can get BTN?

A: BTN is available in up to 80 million homes nationwide on all major video providers, including cable and satellite. BTN is also widely available in Canada.

The network has distribution agreements with DirecTV, DISH Network, Verizon FiOS, AT&T U-verse, Cablevision, Charter Communications, Comcast Xfinity, Cox Communications, Insight Communications, Mediacom, Time Warner Cable, RCN, WOW!, Rogers Cable, Shaw and Shaw Direct (Canada) and about 300 additional video providers across North America.

Q: Is BTN available in all 50 states?
A: Yes, BTN is available throughout the U.S. and Canada. Fans who live outside the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean can also watch BTN football and men?s basketball telecasts live and other Big Ten television partner telecasts on-demand through www.BigTenTicket.com, an international streaming subscription service.

Q: How do I know what my BTN channel is?
A: BTN?s GameFinder feature ( www.BigTenNetwork.com/GameFinder) allows you to input your zip code, identify your provider and learn your BTN channel.

Q: Which game will I get when BTN is televising two games at once?
A: You will get the game most relevant for your area. The majority of our cable, satellite and telecommunication affiliates in the nine Big Ten States carry our ?Extra Football Game Channels,? while many outside the Big Ten region are continuing to make these channels available. The decision whether to carry ?Extra Football Game Channels? is made by your cable company?s local office, so we recommend that you check with your provider. Satellite (DIRECTV and DISH Network) and telecommunication providers (Verizon FiOS and AT&T U-Verse) offer all BTN games on ?Extra Football Game Channels,? whether the network is airing one or three games at the same time. Our GameFinder feature is updated weekly during the football season so you can determine if your local system offers these channels and if so, where to find them in your channel lineup. If you do not get these channels, you can call your local cable office to let them know you are interested. Click to read more about Extra Football Game Channels.

Q: Can I watch BTN on my computer, my phone or my tablet?
A: BTN now offers BTN2Go, a live, 24/7 multi-platform extension of BTN that gives fans, through their cable, satellite or telco provider, the ability to watch the network live wherever they are via the internet, smartphone or tablet. Your provider must agree to carry BTN and BTN2Go in order for you to receive it. As of August 20, DIRECTV, DISH Network, Time Warner Cable and Charter will begin offering BTN2Go to its subscribers this fall. This service is launching on Sept. 1 at BTN2GO.COM, and via the iPad and iPhone several weeks later. An android version will be available early in 2012. Click to read our FAQ on www.BTN2Go.com.

Q: Which networks will televise Nebraska football games?
A: The Big Ten Conference has media agreements with BTN, ABC and the various ESPN networks. To access the BTN schedule, go to www.bigtennetwork.com/schedule. Additional game times can be found at Huskers.com.

Q: Do I still have to order some Nebraska games on a pay-per-view basis?
A: There is no longer a need for pay-per-view games, now that all home Nebraska games will receive national television exposure on BTN, ABC or the various ESPN networks.

Q: How are games selected to air on the various networks?
A: The Big Ten Conference?s media partners select most non-conference and primetime games in late spring. Remaining contests are selected by the networks either six or 12 days before the scheduled game.

Q: Which specific Nebraska football games will be on BTN this year?
A: Currently, the UT-Chattanooga game on Sept. 3 and Fresno State on Sept. 10 will be on BTN. Nebraska will also have at least one to be determined Big Ten Conference game on the network that will be selected either six or 12 days before the scheduled game.

Q: I live in ________, what is my BTN channel?
A: Go to www.bigtennetwork.com/gamefinder, type in your zip code and identify your cable or satellite provider to learn your BTN channel.

Q: I?ve heard about something called ?Extra Football Game Channels.? What are they?
A: Click to read more about Extra Football Game Channels.

Q: I live outside Nebraska. What if my cable company doesn?t carry more than one BTN channel?
A: In order to satisfy fans of all schools, the network offers all of its games to affiliates for them to place on ?Extra Football Game Channels? on football Saturdays. With the additional scheduling flexibility BTN has this year, we will have fewer games on at the same time. However, if your cable company does not carry these extra channels, you may want to let them know of your interest in their doing so. Extra Football Game Channels are also available on BTN2Go.

Q: My on-screen channel guide says there are 3 BTN channels. Will there be programming on all those channels?
A: What you are seeing is your provider?s identifying its Extra Football Game Channels, which can only be used by BTN on football Saturdays.

Q: Do you re-air Nebraska football games during the week?
A: Yes, we will re-air Nebraska games. To view the BTN schedule, go to http://www.bigtennetwork.com/schedule.

Q: Are you going to show Nebraska volleyball, soccer, wrestling, etc.?
A: Yes, Nebraska will be well-represented in the network?s coverage of Olympic sports, including women?s volleyball and soccer this fall.

Q: What if my cable company doesn?t carry BTN?
A: BTN is available to approximately 80 million homes across the United States and Canada, and has carriage agreements with more than 300 cable operators, both large and small, both inside and outside of the Big Ten states. We have not been able to agree on business terms with every single cable operator but we continue to work to make BTN available to every home. All of the deals we have completed demonstrate that the terms are fair and reasonable, and if you haven?t already done so, you may want to consider communicating with your cable company to let them know that there is a desire for BTN programming in your area. You can also enter your zip code in GameFinder ( www.bigtennetwork.com/gamefinder) to see if there are other providers in your area that carry BTN.

Q: Are all Nebraska football games nationally televised?
A: The existence of BTN ensures that every Big Ten HOME football game will be televised to a national audience. Additionally, every HOME Big Ten men?s basketball game is either televised or streamed live to a national audience.

Q: If a game is on BTN, will it also be on ESPN or ABC?
A: When a game is airing live on BTN, ABC or the ESPN family of networks, that network has the exclusive rights to that content.

Q: If a game airs on ESPN or ABC, will it ever be replayed on BTN?
A: Yes, BTN can air replays of games that originally aired on another Big Ten television partner network . For information on these games, go to the BTN schedule page at http://www.bigtennetwork.com/schedule

Q: If Nebraska is playing UT-Chattanooga at 2:30pm CT on BTN and Illinois is playing Arkansas State on BTN at the same time, which game will I get?
A: If there is more than one game airing simultaneously on a football Saturday, you should go to http://www.bigtennetwork.com/gamefinder at mid-week to learn the BTN channel for the Nebraska game. If there is no other game airing at the same time, your game will be on the main BTN channel on your cable or satellite system.

Q: What kind of Big Ten football coverage does BTN provide other than the games?
A: On football Saturdays, BTN kicks off its coverage with a pregame show beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET, and offers halftime and post-game coverage in addition to The Final Drive, which begins after all games have ended. During the week, BTN offers coverage of the football season Monday through Friday, with a new show each evening beginning at 7 PM ET. Mondays, it?s Big Ten Breakdown and the Pulse; Tuesdays, The Next Level; Wednesdays, Big Ten Football & Beyond; Thursdays, BTN Live and Step Into My Office; and Fridays, The Pulse and Big Ten Football report.

Q: Can I purchase a DVD of Nebraska games?
A: We are currently unable to fill requests for DVDs of individual programs. Our video licensing partner, Thought Equity, offers some of our programming through its website.

Q: If I live overseas, how can I watch Nebraska games?
A: For Nebraska fans living overseas, BTN offers ?Big Ten Ticket,? which is an international streaming subscription service that includes every BTN football and men?s basketball telecast to viewers outside of the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. This year, for the first time, Big Ten Ticket will also include next day, on-demand access to all Big Ten games, including all Big Ten Conference television partners.
