(Big Ten Network) – Kearney, Nebraska - Charter?s Nebraska customers will now have even more to cheer about as they anticipate the upcoming Husker football season. In time for Nebraska?s inaugural season in the Big Ten Conference, Charter has added Big Ten Network (BTN) to Expanded Basic Digital, significantly expanding the number of customers enjoying BTN. BTN will remain on channel 425 and be seen by both Expanded Basic Digital and SportsView customers. BTN is also available at no additional cost for high-definition customers on channel 768.

?Husker fans are excited about the upcoming season and so are we,? said Melissa Morris, Vice President and General Manager for Charter in Nebraska. ?With this move, we are enhancing the value our service provides to more of our Nebraska customers. Expanded availability of BTN will help our Nebraska customers follow Husker athletics throughout the year.?

Said BTN President Mark Silverman, ?With Nebraska becoming a member of the Big Ten, it?s great news that Charter is adding BTN to its Expanded Basic Digital level of service. We?re excited for this upcoming season with the Huskers and excited to be making this move with Charter.?

All Husker games will be provided either on BTN, ABC, Versus or one of the ESPN family of networks, all of which are provided by Charter.

Charter customers who receive BTN programming as part of their video service also will soon have access to BTN2Go, enabling availability on computers, tablets and mobile phones. BTN2Go features live games, on-demand original programming and archived content from the Big Ten Conference library.
